Acclaimed worldwide as one of the premier breeding programs, producing national and international champions. With origins more than 30 years ago in the Black Forest of Germany, Europe-meets-California in the beautiful and professional atmosphere of the Om El Arab stables and in the generosity and enthusiasm of owners Sigi Siller and daughter Janina Merz. Om El Arab is home to the largest collection of Estopa-related horses in the world.

“Om El Arab” translates to “Mother of All Arabians.” Research into results for shows around the world for the past ten, twenty, thirty or forty years would reveal the unparalleled influence of the Om El Arab breeding program. The full-service breeding and training facility attracts almost 1000 visitors each year. Some buy breedings, show or breeding stock, but many come for the opportunity to learn from and appreciate a unique multi-generational program.

Entering its fourth decade, the mother-daughter team is passionate about their horses and has a grand vision for the future. They look forward to breeding more world class horses and are very excited about the future at this magical place called Om El Arab.
